My name is Shannon. I am an Al-Anon member and Anthropology student at Missouri State University. For an anthropology class, I am doing a study of the Al-Anon program and the impact the program has on its members. I have been a member for a while and know what the program has done for me. I am interested in how Al-Anon has affected others. As it is difficult to do interviews on a person-by-person basis, I decided to post some questions to this forum. As anonymity is a vital part of Al-Anon, no names will be used in the study. Only the content of your answers will be used. I want to thank you in advance for your participation. If you dont want to put your answers in the forum, you can e-mail them to shannon1@live.missouristate.edu. If you have any questions about the project, feel free to contact me. Also, if there is anything you want to say that is not addressed by the questions, feel free to add that as well.

    Thank you very much.

    1. How have you benefitted from the Al-Anon program?

    2. What do you think life would have been like without the Al-Anon program?
