My eating disease, I believe, came before my alcoholism.  All my life I have struggled with complusive/binge eating.  I have not had a drink for 10 months, and now really need help with my food addiction.  I have tried OA many times, which worked for a while, but then I was back on the merry-go-round.  Been to Weight Watchers many times over the years and other diet organisations....yes, they were good, great support...but then once again, back on the merry-go-round.  I know my triggers, loneliness, too lazy to cook, sometimes even being happy makes me binge.  I now have a new career, which means I am working some weird shifts.  Sometimes writing a food diary has helped or setting a meal plan for 7 days.  Right now I think my only option is seeing my doctor and asking if their are any new medications on the market that will help me.  But I have to be careful because of other medications I am on.  Any advice/support would be very much appreciated.

    HI Sandy

I am struggling with eating also.  I am new out of rehab for the relapse before the relapse and I am struggling with getting my weight under control. No one understands the eating how it feels when you dont look right or act right or feel right.
